Brookside Estates is a nice little pocket neighborhood tucked in around Windsor Park (51st & Berkman area) very close to Bartholomew Park. These homes are generally ranch style and were built in the 60’s & 70’s. The proximity to the park is appealing because the park is supposed to go through a major renovation due to being a part of the Mueller master plan. Also, most of the homes are zoned to Blanton Elementary which is usually ranked as exemplary or recognized in the latest school ratings…not a common thing on the eastside! This is a very walkable neighborhood with nice big trees and a tranquil atmosphere. A great spot for a beginning family wanting to own a home and be close to Mueller & downtown.
