Cherrylawn is a little neighborhood sandwiched in between Manor & Springdale just north of 51st Street heading towards 183. Located close to the University Hills & Vintage Hills neighborhoods, these neighborhoods are priced affordably (low $100’s to mid $200’s) with a mix of different style homes and various levels of condition from handyman specials to completely redone flip houses. Most of the homes in the neighborhood were built in the 60’s & 70’s.
The area is turning around, but there are some rough spots still, including some apartments on both Manor & Springdale. But, this is a good spot for someone who is looking for value and wanting to buy to enjoy appreciation in the future as values push up moving further east from Mueller & Windsor Park.
